Accessing Autocue Notes

How to Access Notes Selection

To access the notes, select the 'Open Notes' button on the panel as shown below.

Choosing your Notes

After selecting the 'Open Notes' button, you will be shown this window where you can choose between 'Sample Notes' or 'Uploaded Notes'.

Once you have chosen a category, different notes within that category will be displayed, where you can choose any to preview before confirming for the autocue panel.

After you have previewed your selection and are happy to use these notes for the autocue, you can confirm your selection by selecting 'Select Notes'.

How to use the Autocue

The autocue panel is your tool to access, read, and reference your notes while you are performing your speech in public speaking practice. This guide will show you how to use the panel:

Play/Pause the Autocue

To start the autocue panel, you simple need to select the 'Play' button as shown below, and when you select play, this button will display a 'Pause' button instead, allowing you to pause your notes.

Moving the Autocue

The Autocue panel will always appear on your right-hand side within the scene, but you can interact and move the autocue panel.

You can also control the distance the notes appear from you by moving the joystick on your controller forward or backwards while you are holding the autocue panel.

Autocue Speed

The speed at which the notes appear on the autocue can be controlled by toggling on the autocue speed button, as shown in the image below:

To change the speed, you will see a slider labelled with speeds from '0.5x' to '1.5x' speed, and dragging this slider along will change how fast the notes appear on the panel.

Restarting Autocue

If you would like to restart the autocue and have your notes appear again from the start, please select the 'Restart' button as shown in the image below.

Closing Autocue

If you want to close the autocue panel, you can select the 'Close Panel' button as shown in the image below. If you want to bring back the autocue panel, you will need to select your notes again through the selection menu.
